John Krasinski thinks the world could use some good news right now. That’s why he’s launched a dedicated Youtube show sharing positive stories amid coronavirus, “Some Good News.”
Krasinski has been asking fans on Twitter to send him stories that made them feel good or made them smile, using the hashtag #SomeGoodNews. He premiered the YouTube series on Sunday, staging a mini “Office” reunion in honor of the show’s 15th anniversary with his former co-star Steve Carell as a guest.
“For years now, I’ve been wondering, why is there not a news show dedicated entirely to good news? Well, desperately seeking my fix somewhere else, I reached out to all of you this week, begging for some good news,” Krasinski says during the show. “Ladies and gentleman, this is your fault, and this is ‘SGN’ – I’m John Krasinski, and I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.”
