Right before I moved to North Carolina I got into quilting. Mostly as a way to keep my brain distracted from well, life, but also because ya girl needed a hobby.
Take in mind this is my first quilt I have made outside of a high school class. I loved this pattern because it reminded me of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where I lived before I moved here.
I cut the fabric and sewed it all together according to the pattern, but my dear friend Tina rocked the quilting part.
In fact Tina and I are currently collaborating on a quilt for my niece's birthday that I can't wait to show off!
Overall it isn't too shabby for a new hobby, I can't wait to make another. I just need a break because two quilts within 4 months is a lot.
