GREENSBORO, N.C. — Severe storms left behind down trees and power lines early Monday morning in the Piedmont Triad.
In Alamance County, a tornado touched down near the towns of Eli Whitney, Sutphin, and Saxapahaw around 6:30 a.m. The National Weather Service reported damage to homes in the area.
