Meet Piper

YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.

Tiny Piper, about 6 months old in Nov, had a rough start to life and she sure is ready to change all that! She, her mama, and three other dogs were dumped in a country field to fend for themselves. A kind person saw them and rescues swooped in. We were able to capture and take in both Piper and her mama.

Both are adjusting well. These two munchkins are soooo cute together!

Piper got excellent care from us and her mama, who is very loving to Piper. She had itchy skin and was missing a lot of fur but it is now growing back with good nutrition. She is looking great!

Piper is a shy little puppy but we are socializing her and, guess what, she really likes dog friendly kids, cannot get enough attention!

She is fine with being held and is a snuggly girl once comfy. She enjoys running around in the play yard with her mama.

She can still pretty frightened of anything new (but great once she is comfy!) and will hunker down on the floor or run to safety. She is a whole different dog once she knows you and is a safe, familiar place!

Piper and her mama have both been good with a mellow larger dog they were rooming with.

Piper is a scardy cat when she is by herself but much more comfortable, a fun little puppy, when she has the companionship of familiar dogs and familiar people friends. She does need a companion dog in her new home. Her mama, Mimi, last picture, is also available for adoption, but your nice dog will do also.

She is playful, a fun and charming puppy once she is comfy.

Since she really must have a sweet little doggie friend, we will make sure that she is adopted into a home with a compatible friend.

If you want both Piper and her mama (1-2 years old, picture 6), that would work also. Her mama is a really nice young girl and they are great together.

Piper does have some spunk under all that shyness and she is a good alert barker.

Pipers mama is 12 pounds (Mimi, looks like a Yorkie/Chi, also up for adoption) so Piper should be a similar size when full grown.

Fenced yard required since Piper is still terrified of the concept of leash walking since that is new to her.

Adoption donation $175.
