Record Cold Likely Overnight; Feels Like 15°

Our big cold front arrived, and brought the big temperature swing as advertised. Temperatures are about 30 degrees colder compared to yesterday, and record cold is possible overnight.

Rain and snow are over now, and roads are drying up under sunshine. We're heading down into the low 20s and upper 10s for lows tonight under clear skies. This is possibly going to be record-setting cold for the Triad, the record low is 22 degrees set in 1977. It's a good idea to keep the faucet dripping overnight as the temperature drips, and remember to unhook your garden hose outside.
