After Presenting to 1,000’s of Kids Across the United States,The Super Smiley Project, a NC 501(c)(3),Launches in the Triad! Kindness is Courageous!TM

*The Super Smiley Project is a Values Mission that has presented to 1,000’s of students across the US. The mission is to “Teach Kids Kindness Through Pets” as well as other Life Values and Skills including Empathy, Responsibility, Patience and The Ability to Listen and Learn from and about others.
*We’ve presented to inner city schools, Boys and Girls Clubs, private schools and Universities in cities across the US including South Chicago, inner city Los Angeles,Dallas, Atlanta, the University of Georgia and the NC Triad.
*The film shorts created from the Project (called “Dogumentaries”) have won numerous Film Festivals across the country and recognition from the prestigious Peabody Awards.

With bullying and school violence in the headlines, the Project is timely and important.It creates a positive ripple effect of powerful behavior choices, giving kids tools and opening their thinking to see these kinder values as “Super Active” Values.Kindness is Courageous!TM It’s scientifically documented that friendly animals can calm people and gain their attention sometimes faster and more completely than even highly trained experts.The Super Smiley Project has, through experience and education, carefully crafted a program including films, interactive discussions, writing, art, dance and song to harness this teaching ability of animals, led by Spokes-Dog Super Smiley and Founder/CEO Megan Blake.

The Triad’s Green Lincoln is the Super Smiley Project’s premier local sponsor and is hosting the Launch Party. The Greensboro Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the event to make it an Official Chamber Event and is presenting the Ribbon Cutting.Other local sponsors include Club Fitness, Fred Astaire Dance Studio and Pet Suites.National sponsors have included State Farm and, currently,Pet Life Radio, with listenership of 7 million per month.
