Woman Dies Going Almost 100 MPH In I-73 Crash In Randolph Co.

RANDLEMAN, NC (WFMY) - A Washington, D.C. woman died Sunday afternoon in a single-car crash on I-73 in Randolph County after authorities say she was driving nearly 100 miles an hour.

Elandra Lavern Butts, 25, was driving a 2018 Nissan Sentra going north near the 86-mile marker in Randleman when she used the grass median to pass a car in the left lane.
