RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) - The Raleigh parents of a 7-month-old who died in a hot car in June have been charged in connection with the child's death, warrants show.

On June 8, Raleigh police responded to a home on Gatcombe Place after a child was found unresponsive.

A search warrant says the family returned home around 2 p.m. and "no one took the infant out of the baby seat."

The child remained locked in the vehicle until the parents went to leave the house again around 7 p.m. and found the infant was not breathing.
