What Do You Think About the New 'College GameDay' Song?

The new theme song for ESPN's College GameDay debuted on Saturday (Sept. 2), and fans don't like it.

ESPN parted ways with Big & Rich shortly before the season started. The duo’s hit “Comin’ to Your City” had been the anthem of College GameDay and millions of fans for 16 years.

After splitting from Big & Rich with no explanation, ESPN hired Darius Rucker, Lainey Wilson, and The Cadillac Three to sing their own version of “Comin’ to Your City," The revamped version debuted ahead of the North Carolina Tar Heels and the South Carolina Gamecocks game. Looks like it might take some time for fans to get around it.

"The new college gameday intro song stinks," one fan wrote on Twitter. "We need hype," not a sleepy, spacey snoozefest," another commented.

"The new song sucks," this football fan stated.

Some fans liked it.

"Hootie is the man. SING A SONG MY BOY #collegegameday," chimed in another.

"Darius Rucker and Lainey Wilson kinda crush the new #collegegameday song... LFG," wrote another.
