The Buffet Is Making a Comeback.

"The buffet is back!", 'The New York Times' exclaims.

Like so many other businesses, buffets across the US closed during the pandemic but they're operating again - in fully glory.

The CEO of Golden Corral says "We’re the comeback kids. Year to date, we’re running about 20 percent up.”

In Vegas, The Bellagio reopened its 120-item buffet to full fanfare, while the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar's Palace recently got a $10 million makeover.

Analysts say the appeal of variety resonates with Americans trying to stretch their dollars when dining out.

'The New York Times' also said that for "Gen Xers and older millennials who grew up during the golden age of Chinese buffets and national chains like Sizzler and Pizza Hut, the buffet is also a nostalgia play" that they are taking full advantage of.
